Ingredients
For the Steak
- 600g rump or sirloin steak
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp oregano
- Β½ tsp salt
- Β½ tsp black pepper
For the Fajitas
- 2 red peppers, sliced
- 1 yellow pepper, sliced
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
To Serve
- 8 flour tortillas
- Sour cream
- Grated cheddar
- Guacamole
- Salsa
- Lime wedges
Method
Step 1 β Marinate the Steak
Combine the olive oil, lime juice, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
Coat the steak thoroughly.
Leave for at least 20 minutes.
Step 2 β Prepare the Forge
Heat a large frying pan or griddle until very hot.
Step 3 β Sear the Steak
Cook the steak for 3β4 minutes per side for medium rare.
Adjust according to thickness and preference.
