Iron Tankard Steak Sandwich

Among the roaring fireplaces and overflowing ale mugs of the Iron Tankard Tavern, one meal stands above all others. Thick slices of perfectly cooked steak are piled onto toasted bread with caramelised onions, melted cheese, and a rich ale mustard sauce. It’s the kind of feast that requires both hands, plenty of napkins, and perhaps a second tankard of ale.

πŸ“œ Lore of the Hoard

The Iron Tankard Tavern sits beside one of the busiest crossroads in the Copper Dragon territories. When merchants, adventurers, and mercenaries needed a meal they could eat without leaving their table or abandoning their drink, the Steak Sandwich was born. Legend claims one particularly hungry dragon slayer consumed three in a single sitting before demanding a fourth “for the road.” His feat is still discussed whenever travellers gather around the tavern hearth. πŸŸ€πŸ‰
