π Lore of the Hoard
The merchants of Rivermarket despised waste, and their cooks became masters at transforming leftovers into feasts. Bubble & Squeak earned its name from the sounds made as vegetables sizzled in giant iron pans over open fires. Over time, what began as a practical meal became a tavern favourite, with travellers often requesting it specifically whenever they passed through the market district. To this day, many Copper Dragon inns consider a good Bubble & Squeak the mark of a skilled cook. π€π
