π Lore of the Hoard
The Nightshade Tavern is known throughout the Black Dragon territories for its patient cooks and generous portions. Legend claims the tavern’s founder once challenged a Black Dragon to a cooking contest. While the dragon relied on fire and speed, the tavern keeper chose patience and slow cooking. By dawn, the dragon admitted defeat after tasting the tender pulled beef. Ever since, the dish has been considered proof that time can be as powerful an ingredient as fire itself. β«π
