Adventurer’s Notes
Moonshadow is said to be the preferred drink of wandering storytellers and night-watch sentinels. Rich berries provide its deep colour while vanilla softens the citrus into a smooth, lingering finish. The final curl of aromatic smoke completes the illusion, making every glass feel like it has captured a fragment of the night sky.
Alchemist’s Tip
No smoking cloche? Light a rosemary sprig for a few seconds, blow it out and invert the serving glass over the fragrant smoke for 30 seconds before pouring the drink. It produces a wonderfully subtle woodland aroma.
Optional Magic
Freeze a single edible flower inside a perfectly clear ice sphere. As the ice slowly melts, the flower gradually appears from the darkness, giving the impression that the moon itself is emerging from the night.
