Adventurer’s Notes
Inspired by the bustling markets of the eastern kingdoms, this marinade layers toasted sesame, fresh ginger and savoury soy into a perfectly balanced blend. As it cooks, the honey caramelises beautifully, creating glossy, flavour-packed dishes that look every bit as impressive as they taste.
Storage
Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Discard any marinade that has been used with raw meat.
Merchant’s Tip
Before marinating, reserve a few tablespoons of the fresh marinade. Drizzle it over cooked meat or vegetables and finish with toasted sesame seeds and sliced spring onions for a restaurant-quality presentation.
